What Is Clean Beauty, Really?

Clean beauty is about using products that are safe, non-toxic, and transparent in their ingredient sourcing. It's not about perfection, but about choosing formulas that are free from known harmful chemicals like parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, formaldehyde releasers, and sulfates. It’s also about supporting brands that prioritize sustainability, ethical sourcing, and minimal environmental impact.

Why It Matters—Especially in the Salon

As a stylist, I work with products every single day—touching them, breathing them in, and applying them to my clients. Traditional haircare and color lines can contain ingredients that have been linked to hormone disruption, allergies, and respiratory issues. Over time, this exposure can add up.
