This past week, I turned 35 — on this birthday I chose to fully step into this next chapter with surrender, intention, and clarity.
If you’ve been following my journey, you know wellness isn’t just something I talk about — it’s something I try to live, breathe, and pour into every aspect of my life. But, it hasn't been a perfect journey and still isn't. From how I care for my body to the way I run my business, wellness is not a trend to me — it’s a calling. Which means I am constantly still learning and growing. And this birthday felt like a powerful reminder that I am exactly where I’m meant to be.
A Year Rooted in Wholeness
Turning 35 has been more than a number — it’s a milestone that has invited me to reflect deeply on the woman I’ve become. Over the past few years, I’ve walked through seasons of growth, pruning, racing towards goals, and purpose. And with each season, I’ve become more rooted in who I am, and the mission have.
This year, I’ve committed to living 35 days at a time. Short term windows of time I created to align my life with intention and focus on what matter most. Every 35-day cycle includes spiritual grounding, family focus, clean living, and holistic practices that keep me centered, hopefully more energized, and also aligned with God’s plan for my life. It’s not about perfection at all, it’s about devotion. To God. To myself. To my family. To my calling. And to the people I serve in my career.
The Heart Behind My Business
My work as a holistic scalp facialist and clean hairstylist is rooted in care, intention, and a belief that wellness should be wholesome and never overwhelming. I’ve built my business on the foundation of helping my guests take care of themselves in a way that’s nurturing, honest, and aligned with their overall health.
At Hairloom Salon and Spa, we focus on the root, literally, in every sense of the word. Whether it's through scalp care and renewal, clean beauty products, or education on how to support your hair and overall well-being, my goal is to offer services that are both thoughtful and results-driven. This isn’t just about beauty on the surface, it’s about creating a space where anyone can be restored, refreshed, and reminded that they matter.
My faith plays a big but steady role in everything I do. It guides the way I serve, the way I treat others, and the standard I set for satisfaction and integrity in my business. I believe God gives us each a unique purpose, and this work of creating a space for someone to rest, reset, and feel cared for is no doubt part of mine.
As I step into this next year, I’m excited to continue expanding my scalp and hair restoration menu, offer tools and treatments that reflect my clean-conscious values, and lead with intention in every area of my work whether it's as a salon owner/leader and a service provider to my guests.
At Hairloom Salon and Spa, we’re not just doing hair. We’re caring for the root — both on your head and in your life. The vision for this business has always been bigger than beauty. It’s about restoring confidence, offering real care, and helping one feel whole again.

Looking Ahead
I believe that when a woman is rooted in her purpose, aligned with her health, and guided by her faith she’s unstoppable. This birthday wasn’t about just turning 35 (which was a little milestone); it was about the reset. A spiritual, physical, and emotional recommitment to the vision God placed in my heart.
To those of you who have supported me, sat in my chair, trusted me with your scalp/hair wellness, or simply cheered me on — thank you. I’m walking into this year with my hands open in full surrender, heart full, and roots deep.
Here’s to 35 and living it in full surrender. Here's to every woman wanting to make the same choices and choosing to bloom, reset, and live her life with intention.
Thank you for being here!
